"BuildABronco is my dream coming true"
I purchased my first Ford Bronco when I was 14 years old. I spent every last penny and every last minute I had to make that 1973 Hot Ginger Sport Bronco shine by the time I was 16. Who knew then that I would be hooked on Ford Broncos for the rest of my life. I have restored many, many Broncos over the past 30 years and loved every minute of it. BuildABronco.com was created out of this passion for Ford Broncos.
BuildABronco is my dream coming true. We are looking forward to working with each and every customer to make their "Bronco Dream" come true!

"I have a true passion for Bronco restorations"
Jim discovered his interest for cars in the back seat of his father's 1969 Nova SS, while yelling "vroom vroom" from his car seat. Jim loved loud, fast vehicles, and tearing stuff apart. Through his childhood it was bikes, toys, and anything he could get his hands on to take apart and discover how it worked. Then, in his teen years it changed from toys to cars and trucks. With 10 years of professional experience welding, fabricating, and general mechanics, Jim is also an ASE and State Certified Technician in engine repair, brakes, front ends, suspensions, and lift kit customizations. He is now building custom Bronco's to order. For him, it is a passion that can't be replaced. Sculpting from raw materials and vintage parts is an experience like no other and he couldn't be happier doing anything else.

"I am building my dream Bronco from scratch"
Just like my dad, I got my first Bronco at age 14. My dad's was a 1973, mine is a 1974. With the help of my dad, I am building my dream Bronco from scratch, starting with a bare powder coated frame. We are building it so it's complete when I turn 16. I've been around Broncos my whole life. Many of my favorite memories involve me in Broncos. I remember the joy rides my dad took me on, as well as watching him work on his Bronco as I was growing up. So with all those memories, building one of my own is a dream come true.

"I just couldn't help but fall in love with all that stuff"
Darin and I have been married for 11 years and we have two great kids. With his passion for cars, boats, and snowmobiles, I just couldn't help but fall in love with all that stuff, too. Brian and I are cousins. As we were growing up, he and his brothers were always working on trucks and Broncos. When Brian asked me if I wanted to help him in the office, I was very excited! Since Darin helps with the detailing and getting them looking their best for the new owners, I have occasionally gotten to help out in that part of the Bronco world, too. For me, I love to watch it all come together. It is amazing to watch a project go from being parts all over the shop to the beautiful, finished Bronco on the trailer ready to become someone's dream come true!

"it's game on! "
It all started for me at a very young age, watching my dad paint cars in the garage. From that point, it was game on! I attended Inland Marine Institute, where I received the School Award of Excellence. I then went to work for Scott Brayton, a race car driver, in his restoration department. After that, I moved to assembling Indy Car engines in the early 90's. For the last 15 years, I have been employed as a principal technician for a large original equipment manufacturer supplier in their research and development department. My background includes MIG, TIG, and stick welding, as well as machining. I enjoy working on Broncos in my spare time and look forward to making your dream come true.
